01Who we are
Groove Circuit is a music and events company running dance music nights in Dublin, Ireland. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the "controller" under the GDPR.

02What we collect
When you join our early-access list:
- your email address
- your first name, if you enter it (it's optional)
- when you signed up and confirmed your email
When you use the "Get involved" form (DJ, media or booking enquiries): your name, email, the links you share and your message.
We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies on this site.
03Why we collect it
We use your email to send you:
- gig and event announcements, including dates, venues and lineups
- early-access ticket windows and discount codes
- occasional list-only offers, like guestlist spots
We only email you because you asked us to. Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box and confirming your email address. You can withdraw it at any time.
We use "Get involved" details only to reply to you and talk about working together.
04Who handles it for us
We never sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing. A few services handle it on our behalf:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and sees your IP address when you visit, to serve and protect the site.
- Google Fonts supplies our typefaces, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
Where any of these move data outside the EU, they rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
05How long we keep it
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only what Brevo needs to make sure you're not emailed again.
- Enquiries: up to 12 months, unless we end up working together.
06Unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it, or delete it
- stop or limit how we use it
- give you a copy to take elsewhere
Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
